Cookie Policy
Effective date: 9 October 2026
A cookie is a small piece of text that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later requests, which is how sites remember things between pages. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: local storage and session storage keep data in the browser, tracking pixels report a page view by loading a tiny image from somewhere else, and fingerprinting infers an identity from the characteristics of your browser and device.
This page lists what we checked for on exactratio.online and what the answer is in each case.
What we checked
- Cookies set by this site
- Not used. This site sets no cookies of its own, of any kind, including functional or preference cookies.
- Cookies set by others through this site
- Not used. No third party has any presence on these pages, so nobody is in a position to set a cookie through them.
- localStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to your browser's local storage. This is why the checklists do not remember which boxes you have ticked.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to session storage either, so nothing carries between pages.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. This site creates no browser database.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. There are no tracking pixels, beacons or invisible images of any kind on these pages.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. We do not run any script that collects device, font, canvas or hardware characteristics, and we make no attempt to identify a returning visitor.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. The site uses the fonts already installed on your computer and loads no script, stylesheet, font or file from any other domain. Your browser makes zero external requests while reading these pages.
- Server access logs
- Used. Our hosting provider records ordinary web server logs when a page is requested. This is the only entry on this list that is in use.
What the access logs contain
A log entry records the IP address that made the request, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string. Those entries are kept for 30 days and then deleted. They are used for security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis, and for nothing else. The Privacy Policy sets this out in more detail.
Why there is no cookie banner
A consent banner asks permission to do something. Since this site does none of the things a banner exists to ask about, there would be nothing to consent to, and a banner here would be misleading rather than helpful. We would rather publish this page, which says what is actually happening, than show a dialogue that implies more is going on than there is.
What happens after you follow an affiliate link
Some links on this site are paid affiliate links, explained in full on our Affiliate Disclosure page. When you follow one, you leave exactratio.online.
The War Thunder website and the affiliate network that operates the link may then set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains, typically to record where the referral came from. That is entirely under their control and governed by their own notices, which are worth reading if this matters to you. MBRODA s.r.o. does not operate those cookies, cannot read them and does not receive information from them that identifies an individual.
Blocking or clearing cookies in general
Every mainstream browser lets you see which sites have stored cookies, delete them individually or all at once, and block them from being set. The controls are usually under a privacy or site-settings section of the browser's preferences, and most browsers also offer a private window that discards everything when it closes. Browsers differ, so the browser's own help pages are the right place to look for the exact wording. Blocking cookies has no effect on this site, because there is nothing here for the setting to apply to.
If this ever changes
If we ever introduce a cookie or any similar technology, we will update this page first, say exactly what the technology is and what it does, and put a working consent mechanism in place before anything is set on your device. We will not quietly add a tracker and backdate a policy to cover it.
