Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9 October 2026

This policy describes how MBRODA s.r.o. handles personal information in connection with the website at exactratio.online. MBRODA s.r.o. is the entity responsible for that handling. Its registered address is Hornomlýnská 1240/4, Kunratice, 148 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic, its company registration number is 29681430, and it can be reached at info@exactratio.online.

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. The principles themselves are published by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au/privacy/australian-privacy-principles.

This policy covers exactratio.online and nothing else. Any site you reach by following a link from here — the War Thunder website, the affiliate network that operates our links, the Australian government sites named in the course — has its own policy, to be read there.

The sections below take each of the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles in order and say what it means on this site. Several have little application here, and where that is so the section says it in one sentence.

APP 1 — Open and transparent management of personal information

This document is our privacy policy, it is linked from the footer of every page on the site, and it is free to read without any form, account or acceptance step. It describes the only two categories of personal information that exist here: server access logs, and emails people send us. Complaints about our handling of personal information are dealt with under the Complaints section below. If any part of this policy is unclear, write to info@exactratio.online and we will explain it.

APP 2 — Anonymity and pseudonymity

You can read every page of this site without identifying yourself. There is no login, no form, no account and no way to tell us who you are through the site itself. If you write to us, you may use a pseudonymous email address and need not give your real name. The one exception is a request to access or correct personal information we hold, where we may need enough information to be reasonably satisfied that the information relates to you.

APP 3 — Collection of solicited personal information

We solicit personal information in only one way: by publishing an email address and inviting you to write to us. If you do, we receive your email address, any name you choose to give, the content of your message, and any attachment you send. We ask for nothing more.

Separately, and not by solicitation, our hosting provider records server access logs when any page is requested. Those logs contain the IP address making the request, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string your browser supplies. This is the ordinary operation of a web server rather than a collection exercise, but an IP address can in some circumstances be personal information, so we treat it as such.

Nothing else is collected. There are no forms, no sign-ups, no accounts, no newsletter, no progress tracking, no quiz, no chat widget, no cookies, no web fonts, no analytics, no advertising tags, no profiling and no cross-site tracking. The site requests nothing from any other server, so no third party learns that you visited it by virtue of your visit.

APP 4 — Dealing with unsolicited personal information

If you send us personal information we did not ask for and do not need in order to reply — details about other people, documents, or material unrelated to your enquiry — we delete it as soon as it is lawful and reasonable to do so, and we do not use or disclose it in the meantime.

APP 5 — Notification of the collection of personal information

This policy is that notification. It names the responsible entity and its contact details, the two categories of information collected, the purpose of each, how long each is kept, who receives it, and how to complain. It is linked from every page, including the contact page where the email address appears.

APP 6 — Use or disclosure of personal information

Server access logs are used only for keeping the site secure, preventing and investigating abuse, and diagnosing faults. The content of emails is used only to read and reply to the message, and to keep a record of the correspondence.

We do not use either category for any other purpose. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing. We disclose it only to the service providers named below, who process it on our behalf, or to an authority where the law requires or authorises us to.

APP 7 — Direct marketing

We do not carry out direct marketing. There is no mailing list, no newsletter, no promotional email and no course reminder of any kind. If you write to us, you will receive a reply to your message and nothing else.

APP 8 — Cross-border disclosure of personal information

Two service providers handle personal information for us: our hosting provider, which operates the web server and keeps its access logs, and our email service provider, which operates the mailbox behind info@exactratio.online. They are the only recipients.

Both may store or process data outside Australia. We are not naming a specific country here because we will not state something we cannot keep accurate; what you should assume is that the information described in this policy may be held on servers located outside Australia, and that by reading this site or writing to us you are providing it on that basis. We take reasonable steps to use providers that handle data responsibly, but overseas recipients are not subject to the Australian Privacy Principles in the way an Australian entity is.

APP 9 — Adoption, use or disclosure of government related identifiers

This principle has no application here. We do not adopt, use or disclose any government related identifier — no tax file number, no Medicare number, no driver licence number, no passport number. We never ask for one, and you should never send us one.

APP 10 — Quality of personal information

The only personal information we hold that could be inaccurate is what you tell us in an email. If something you have sent us is wrong, write to us and we will correct it. Server access logs are generated automatically and are not edited; they are deleted on the schedule described below.

APP 11 — Security of personal information

The site is served over HTTPS, so what passes between your browser and the server is encrypted in transit. There is no database on this site and no mechanism for submitting anything to it, which means there is no store of submitted information to be breached.

The hosting account and the mailbox are accessible only to people working for MBRODA s.r.o., using individual credentials. We claim no certification and no compliance with any standard beyond what is stated here. Logs and correspondence are deleted when their retention periods end, which is the most reliable protection there is.

APP 12 — Access to personal information

You may ask what personal information we hold about you. Write to info@exactratio.online with "Privacy request" in the subject line. There is no charge for making a request. We will respond within 30 days.

In practice we usually hold nothing identifiable: logs are not indexed by person, and if you have never written to us there is no correspondence. If we cannot give access to something, we will say why in writing.

APP 13 — Correction of personal information

If information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, ask us to correct it, using the same address and the same subject line. There is no charge. We will respond within 30 days, and if we decline to make a correction we will explain why and tell you how to have a statement attached noting that you disagree.

Retention periods

Server access logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Email correspondence is kept for 24 months after the last message in the conversation and then deleted, unless it is needed in connection with a legal claim, in which case it is kept until that matter concludes.

Affiliate links and what happens when you follow one

Some links on this site are paid affiliate links to the War Thunder website, as explained on our Affiliate Disclosure page. Following one takes you off exactratio.online entirely.

Once you have left, the destination site and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains to record that the visit came from us. That happens under their policies and their control, not ours. MBRODA s.r.o. receives reports from the network showing counts of referrals and commissions. We use those reports only to reconcile payments, and we do not ask for, seek or want information that would identify an individual reader.

Children

This site is not directed at people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. There is nothing on the site through which a person of any age can submit information to us, and we collect nothing designed to identify a reader's age.

If you are in the European Union, the EEA or the United Kingdom

MBRODA s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so European data protection law applies to its activities alongside the Australian framework described above.

Our legal basis for keeping server access logs is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and diagnosing faults. Our legal basis for handling the content of an email you send us is the need to take steps at your request and our legitimate interest in answering correspondence. We do not rely on consent for anything, because there are no cookies, no tracking and no marketing to consent to.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection in respect of information we hold about you. Write to info@exactratio.online to exercise any of them.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), at uoou.gov.cz.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, write to info@exactratio.online setting out the circumstances. We will acknowledge the complaint, investigate it, and respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which explains the process at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.

Data breaches

If we become aware of unauthorised access to, or disclosure or loss of, personal information we hold, we assess it promptly. Where the assessment shows that serious harm to any affected person is likely, we notify those people and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Changes to this policy

When we revise this policy, we update the effective date at the top. Where a change is material, we flag it in a note at the top of this page for 30 days so that a returning reader can see that something has changed rather than having to compare versions.
